MOHE – CAS
The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) in Oman is seeking innovative and qualified Academic Faculty Members to join the Colleges of Applied Sciences (CAS) for the posts of: Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer. Doctorate and Masters Qualifications are required for Design, Information Technology (IT), International Business Administration (IBA), Engineering and Communication Studies (Comm.). For English, BA qualifications will be considered. Taking into consideration that the medium of teaching in CAS is English, all qualifications must have been taught and assessed in English.

Position: (Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer). Requirements are as follows:
1. Specialization:
A. Advertising, Digital Media and Public Relations/ needed in Nizwa
B. Digital Media and Public Relation / needed in Sur
C. Digital Media/ needed in Salalah
2. No of years of experience:
A. Desirable experience in both industry and academia.
B. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
3. Qualifications
C. PhD is preferred but Masters holders will be considered as appropriate.
D. For Digital Media, knowledge of the following Software is required:
1. Maya
2. After Effects
3. 3D Mex
4. Adobe CS4

2. No of years of experience:
A. Minimum 3 years of academic experience and industrial experience
3. Qualifications
A. PhD holders are preferred but Masters holders with sound academic and industrial experience could be considered.
6. English Program / CAS-Rustaq, Sur, Sohar, Nizwa, Salalah & Ibri
Position: (Lecturer, Assistant Lecturer). Minimum requirements are as follows:
A. MA in English (TESOL, ELT, ESL, EFL & Applied Linguistics).
B. A qualification in English Language Teaching (ELT) (e.g. CELTA, DELTA, Trinity TEFL certificate).
C. 3 years of English Language Teaching experience at tertiary level.
D. First degree preferably in a related field.
BA degree holders with relevant experience will be considered as follows:
A. BA degree preferably in a relevant subject; must have been taught and assessed in English.
B. A qualification in English Language Teaching (ELT) (e.g. CELTA, DELTA, Trinity TEFL certificate).
C. 3 years of English Language Teaching experience at tertiary level.
